If Iran Would Have Read the Daily Stormer, They Would Have Known Neocon Biden Wasn’t Doing Any Deals

This is what is currently happening: Joe Biden’s Jews, led by Jew Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, are currently putting conditions on a return to the Barack Obama nuclear deal that make it impossible for Iran to agree to it.

This is a standard neocon tactic: they go out there and offer some deal that no one in their right might would take, then say “well, they refused the deal, so we can’t do business with them.”

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Sunday that Tehran’s “final and irreversible” decision was to return to compliance with the 2015 nuclear deal only if Washington lifts sanctions on the Islamic Republic, Iranian state TV reported.

The deal between Iran and six major powers limited Iran’s uranium enrichment activity to make it harder for Tehran to develop nuclear arms – an ambition Iran has long denied having – in return for the easing of U.S. and other sanctions.

But former U.S. President Donald Trump abandoned the deal in 2018, denouncing it as one-sided in Iran’s favour, and reimposed sanctions that have crippled Iran’s economy.

“Iran has fulfilled all its obligations under the deal, not the United States and the three European countries … If they want Iran to return to its commitments, the United States must in practice … lift all sanctions,” state TV quoted Khamenei as saying in a meeting with Air Force commanders.

“Then, after verifying whether all sanctions have been lifted correctly, we will return to full compliance … It is the irreversible and final decision and all Iranian officials have consensus over it.”

In response to Trump’s withdrawal, Tehran has breached the deal’s key limits one after the other, building up its stockpile of low-enriched uranium, refining uranium to a higher level of purity and using advanced centrifuges for enrichment.

U.S. President Joe Biden, who took office last month, has said that if Tehran returned to strict compliance with the pact, Washington would follow suit and use that as a springboard to a broader agreement that might restrict Iran’s missile development and regional activities.

Yes, he in fact ran on going back to the deal.

Breaking the deal was one of the things that Trump actually managed to do that I disagreed with. I am against these stupid wars, and I am against building up pointless hostility around the world.

For those who don’t understand, the deal was that Iran would stop attempting to produce a nuclear weapon if they were allowed to participate in the global financial system. (There was also some US taxpayer bribe money involved, which probably wasn’t needed, and that is why Trump said it was “a bad deal.”)

I’m sure Iran was hopeful that if Trump lost, Biden – who let’s remember served as Barack Obama’s Vice-President – would go back to the deal.

If they had been readers of the Daily Stormer, they would have know that wouldn’t happen. I was following the communications of the Jews before the election, and they were publicly stating that Biden would not return to the deal, even as Biden himself stated publicly that he would.

William Kristol himself was out there saying it.

Last night on an official Biden campaign webinar led by “Jewish Americans for Biden”, and moderated by Ann Lewis of Democratic Majority for Israel, two prominent neocon Republicans endorsed Biden, primarily because of Trump’s character posing a danger to democracy. But both neocons emphasized that Biden would be more willing to use force in the Middle East and reassured Jewish viewers that Biden will seek to depoliticize Israel support, won’t necessarily return to the Iran deal and will surround himself with advisers who support Israel and believe in American military intervention.

Eric Edelman, a former diplomat and adviser to Dick Cheney, said Trump’s peace plan has fostered an open political divide in the U.S. over Israel, because the plan endangers “the demographic future of Israel and its ability to continue to be both a Jewish and a democratic state.” (Demographic future means that Israel might have a majority of Palestinians, an argument we associate in the U.S. with segregationists.)

Eliot Cohen, a Bush aide and academic, echoed the fear that Israel is being politicized. “A lot of Jews made a big mistake by taking something I was in favor of, moving the embassy to Jerusalem and obsessing about that,” he said. But there was huge political risk in that: if the United States is internally divided, at war with itself, and “Israel has become a partisan issue, which it should never ever be…. That’s not in Israel’s longterm security interest.”

Cohen and Edelman opposed Obama’s Iran deal, and both predicted that Biden will be hawkish on Iran.

Edelman said that the Trump administration “deserves some credit” for upping the pressure on Iran, but that some of the measures have isolated the U.S. from allies and thereby helped Iran. “Sanctions are not a strategy.”

Edelman assured viewers that Trump has set the terms for the ongoing relationship with Iran– Obama’s Iran deal does not set the terms.

“There will be voices” in the Biden administration that seek a return to the Iran deal, but the clock has been running for four years, and we’re in a different place, he said. And “it will be hard [for Biden] not to use the leverage that the sanctions provide in part because Iran is not abiding by a lot of the limits of the nuclear agreement… They’re about three, maybe four months away from having enough fissile material to actually develop a nuclear weapon.”

Edelman went on to say that if the Democrats take the Senate, Chuck Schumer will be Senate Majority leader and he was against the deal. So was the likely Democratic chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Bob Menendez. And most Democratic leaders were very lukewarm on the deal, even as they endorsed it in name.

These “predictions” that they made were not actually “predictions,” but states from insiders who understood the kind of foreign policy the people around Biden were planning.

Both Cohen and Edelman have links to Biden’s Secretary of State Antony Blinken that go far beyond sharing an ethnicity. Cohen is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations with Blinken, and all three are linked through the Brookings Institute.

So these neocons were making a promise that Biden wouldn’t reinstate the Iran deal based on foreknowledge, given to them directly from the source.

Iran, like China, had a better chance of avoiding war under Trump.
